Master your mind, master your life.

What. Meditation is to the mind what physical exercise is to the body. To meditate is to sharpen your awareness and willpower—two of the key aspects of the higher mind. It gives you greater clarity, focus, and headspace. Meditation is also a doorway to self-knowledge, spiritual growth, and higher states of consciousness.

Why. Any change you wish to make in yourself, or in your life, will happen through your mind. Therefore, training the mind is key to living well and achieving your goals. If your mind is distracted, negative, busy, or unruly, your wellbeing and your goals will suffer.

How. Identify which type of meditation is best suited to your personality and needs, and start a daily practice. You can begin with 5 minutes per day and grow one minute per week until you arrive at 20 or 30 minutes. Or you can choose a guided meditation from a teacher you trust.
